Centenarians’ Route was born from a huge passion for our island.. Since we were children we have loved listening to the stories of our grandparents. Now we would like to share this heritage with others who are interested in traditional and magical stories and would like to experience our culture and learn our history.
We developed an alternative approach to tourism, involving closer contact with the island and its people and with greater value placed on the traditional and cultural aspects.
In this way, we created “Centenarians’ Road”. We have also founded the cultural association A cent’annus that manages and organises all the routes.
